I’m really glad you’re here. Deciding to invest in yourself is a big move, and it means a lot that you’ve chosen to do it with me. This page is your starting point: it’ll lay out the next steps, what to expect, how we’ll work together, and everything you need to know to hit the ground running. You don’t need to be perfect- you just need to show up. I’ll guide you the rest of the way.

Well done on taking the first step in your personal training journey- I'm really excited to get started with you!
Before we dive in, there are just a few admin bits to take care of:

What to expect at your first session?
At your first session, you'll be warmly welcomed at Kilo Gym- smiles included! Please arrive on time, wearing comfortable clothes and bringing a bottle of water. We'll start by walking through what to expect, followed by a simple warm-up and some mobility exercises so I can get a feel for how your body moves.
From there, I’ll guide you through a strength-based session tailored to your current level and goals. Each exercise will be clearly explained and demonstrated, and I’ll support you every step of the way as you give them a try. We’ll finish with some stretches to cool down and help your body recover.
This is your space- please let me know if anything doesn’t feel quite right, and know that you can pause or stop at any time. Most importantly, we’ll keep it enjoyable, and I promise you’ll leave feeling accomplished and satisfied.
The Personal Training journey
Your personal training journey will be unique to you and shaped by your individual goals. While the path may vary, I can promise you this: you'll build confidence in the gym, learn how to strength train safely and effectively, gain valuable insights into nutrition and mindset, and step into a safe, confidential space where you're free to show up exactly as you are- even if that means letting off some steam.

The minimum sign up is 4 weeks. However, to get the full benefit from Personal Training I would advise an investment of at least 6 months.
PLEASE NOTE: 30 days notice is required after the first 4 weeks. -
There is a 24hr cancellation policy for scheduled sessions. If you cancel within 24hrs of your next scheduled session then you will unfortunately lose that missed session.
In addition, I also have a 30 day notice period whereby if you do not intend to book any future sessions or are away for two or more consecutive weeks, I require a minimum of 30 days notice.

Particularly after your first session your muscles will feel quite tender and usual movements like bending and sitting may seem a little more taxing than usual. Don’t worry! This is completely normal. Your body will adjust over the next few weeks.
To help with muscle soreness and stiffness, ensure you are stretching daily. Complete 5mins of stretching each day once your body is warm (e.g after a walk). Don’t stretch cold muscles!
